Breaking: Senegal loses 0-2 to Netherlands in World Cup

African champion, Senegal, has lost its first group match 0-2 to the Netherlands in the ongoing World Cup football competition in Qatar.

The Dutch national team (the Orange Boys) scored the two goals in the second half of the match played on Monday November 21, 2022. The Senegalese will play host country, Qatar, next in the group match.

Recall that Qatar lost 0-2 to Ecuador on Sunday, while the Netherlands meet Ecuador in their second match.

Though the African champions were not disgraced, they really missed their injured captain, Sadio Mane, though the goalkeeper, Mende, was a shadow of himself.
