How police arrested man who raped taxi driver at gunpoint

The police have arrested a suspect, Christian Jacquez Taylor, for allegedly raping a driver he invited for a trip at gunpoint.

 

According to WSBTV.com, Clayton County Sheriff stated that Taylor commited the crime in the city of Lovejoy on Friday.

 

According to WSBTV.com “When the taxi arrived, Taylor entered the car, pulled out a gun, forced the victim to take off her clothes while in the car, and raped her at gunpoint,” the police stated.

It further disclosed that Taylor was arrested after Clayton County sheriff, Levon Allen, activated the Elite Fugitive Squad to search for him following a distress call from a man.

 

“Within two hours, officials located Taylor at a home in Hampton, Ga.

 

“When officers knocked on the door, Taylor tried to run out the back door.

 

“Taylor quickly realized his cardio wasn’t sufficient enough to out run the Elite Fugitive Squad after a brief foot chase,” Sheriff Allen said in a statement.

 

Taylor had been charged with rape, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, while investigation on the crime continues.
