‘Even when the church members alerted Nigeria security agencies during the attack, they refused to come and rescue him’

The Mazi Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned the killing of an Igbo Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Isaac Achi, by Fulani terrorists in Niger State.
Achi, the parish priest of Saint Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kafin Koro Community in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State, was burnt to death in his residence by the criminals on Sunday.
IPOB, in a statement issued by its spokesman, Comrade Emma Powerful, described the killing as barbaric and evil.

IPOB narrated that the Fulani herdsmen invaded the community at about 1:00a.m. on Sunday, began shooting indiscriminately and burnt down the building where Rev. Fr Achi hid when they couldn’t gain access to abduct him.
“Even when the church members alerted Nigeria security agencies during the attack, they refused to come and rescue him.
“It’s imperative for Christians in Nigeria to understand that Fulani agenda with tacit support from Fulani-controlled government of Nigeria has an agenda to forcefully Islamize and Fulanize this country, Nigeria. The burning alive of Igbo Catholic Priest in Niger State by Fulani terrorists is not only barbaric but also an affront to Igbo Nation and Christian Association of Nigeria,” IPOB stated.
The group also warned that the killings of Ndigbo in Northern Nigeria must stop.
IPOB however appealed to all Christians and Christian organizations in Nigeria to wake up from their slumber and form a resistance group for self- defense.
